Rule of thumb : 2V and over = fan on ram.

Well Im testing the OC potential of the RAM at the moment and I think the cooler will help, I took the DDR MHz from (stock) 666-776 to generate some baseline data:

Thats y i'm glad my Antec 1200 has dust filters on the front intakes

But some still gets through.

My case has a dust filter as well. It still gets really dusty

I just go without dust filters. I like the extra airflow and the dust can be dealt with by my air compressor.
