    pass 3Dmark06 with Quadcores.
card was 3850CF, just default setting , don't care that, for this run just testing
how much FSB can stably pass 06

540MHZ FSB of QX9650 Passed 3Dmark06 with Quadcores
    and 2:4B ratio, DDR2-1300
Is this 540fsb test all on air?

Any quad tests anyone? I'm now thinking either Q9450 ($249) or E8400 E0...really can't make my mind up. We know this board rocks with the duallies, I would love to see some tests with quads.

Edit: Nevermind saw the QX9650 test a page before this. Awesome stuff there, now I'm really confused!

get the Q9650 it's well worth the extra cash

it o'c's better than any of the QX's

even my QX9770 & runs WAY COOLER to boot ! & i've got both on water
i'll post my benches when i get the board i'll do both the Qx9770 & the Q9650 with a 4870X2

BAM, Just ordered it from the egg for 136.00
and then you get a 20.00 MIR
so in the end the board is only 116,
    you got to love that....

Have some Dominator DDR2 1250 (PC2 10000) and some Redlines I want to play with...

Looks an amazing board, i really need to get my Q9650 to 500fsb. Ive tried maximus formula and P5Q Deluxe so far and both wont go above 470 stable. Cpu has so much more to give but lacks fsb.

I want to order this but im slightly skeptical until i see some 'regular' users hit the high fsb with a quad.
    Q9650 @ 4Ghz - 1.216v
    E8600 @ 4500Ghz - 1.34v - Q822A435
    Q6600 @ 4014Ghz & E2160 @ 3.6Ghz

    I got a strange issue.
When I set a MCh Voltage over 1.24V e.g 1.26V the board will not boot in proper way.
It reset all to default, if I set 1.24V everthing is fine though.

What is going on ..any clue?

Are the UD3P and UD3R boards the same in terms of OC performance?

inthe past there was more than just different features that were different and P always used to be their best board

AFAIK the R only has one PCI-Express 2.0 slot, but other than that I'm not too sure what else is different between the two.

Should have one of these here very soon! Have a set of handpicked 8888C4 dominators just begging to be blown up so I'm hoping this board will be a good match with my 6500MHz E8600

Measure the IHS with a k-type probe. If you are testing with Core Temp then there's a good chance your diode is reading all whack. Mine reads 17C and 19C on the cores at stock and idle in a ~30C ambient room but reads 85C with 1.35v at 4500MHz IHS was only around 50C if I remember correctly, need to find the sheet of results.
