yes please, I still have my doubts about sli with software doesn't convince me at all, first only 1 pcie is gonna run x16 and the rest x8 instead 3 x16, second I hope nvidia gives full support on this since they still saying "If you want full sli performance nf200 is the way to go" I don't know I still have my doubts you know only time will tell![]()
So you agree there's no point in posting it?
You were not supposed to see this.
How exactly did it lowered the quality of life of XS members so that it would be deemed restricted material? If there is even 1% likelihood for nVidia to bring on the table such a fierce opposition to ATI wouldn't it make sense to post the possibility? Of course having worked with gfx cards the last years would make me believe that it would require a new technique from nVidia to create such a chip, which is quite improbable. Most possibly people here would know of it already, but still only nVidia knows for sure...
It's not like nobody knows what's coming from nV shortly...at this point there's right and there's wrong with very little grey area in between.![]()

There are some names that have slipped out through the drivers of what might be coming, and that's a good sign, but at the samer time it could be cancelled at anytime. nVidia could pull them, they might have something they were concurently working on that turned out and want to offer that instead, or they could decide to update the GPU itslef and make it more than a refresh.
With nVidia one never knows. They are very secretive, and sneaky. Remember the 8800's? That was a shock to everybody. Nobody had a clue that kind of performance boost was gonna come out in one shot.
About the only real hard evidence we have is the drivers that had those numbers. Everything else is just speculative. I haven't seen any proof of the date yet. There's too much contradictory rumors that have been spread about.
Only thing we can do is wait on nVidia to release stuff. There will be no GTX350 anytime soon. That is 4 version numbers ahead going by the numbering system they are using currently...2xx numbers by 20's. It's also a odd number which goes against the even numbering they are using. Even if that number was used it would be at least the end of 2009 or longer and would probably be a completely different card. That ain't happening when a new line of cards has just been released.

bump coz the 22nd is getting near
Interesting that AFAIK theres NO pics available of whatever nV have planned (assuming this really is hardware based) yet theres pics ahoy of Nehalem (hardware and results)
doesn't look like anythings coming until 2nd half of next year
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]Bring... bring the amber lamps.
I do find that hard to believe.... a full year with no new launch for their top-end? In some senses, they've had no new top-end product since the 9800GX2. nV wont let things be for that long.
Urgh. Damn you're more right than I want you to be.
Situation is different now though- nV were top of the tree for that time. They arent now...

You won't see leaks from nVidia. They have alsways been completely silent until *just* before release. It's like one day there's nothing, then BAMMMM! there's a new video card out of the clear blue. It's like "Dang! Where did that come from?" hehe![]()
There's always alot of speculation, and sometimes occasionally somebody will accidentally get something right, but it doesn't come from nVidia.
Estimated price anyone?

If it's the same size and layout as the current GTX 280 I might consider it as a Step Up. Figure that way I can keep using the GTX 280 Uni-sink (took me forever to get one of the 1st revision ones, I am NOT giving it up that easy)
I've got until December to Step Up I think, so there's no hurry.
