If this is indeed true then it looks like NV will be making a multi-gpu G200 architecture card. Where are all the multi-gpu haters now?

Multiple gpus are the way of the future. They have problems right now, but that can be fixed. The next step is to allow multiple gpus to access the same memory pool through some sort of memory controller. And to integrate the multiple dies on a single package. From there gpus can be moved onto the same chip as the cpu and etc etc etc.

If this dual card is indeed the fastest card at the time (in the games I play) and I have the money for it (not likely ), I'd get it. I don't really care about power consumption, I have a 1250W power supply for a reason. I don't really care about heat either, that's what my watercooling loops are for.

My 4870x2 plays STALKER clear sky at 1920x1200 maxed. Not just the "maximum" setting, or whatever it's called, but actually moving every slider to max - except for AA which I have at 4x+edge detect ("12x").
