True, I got the names wrong.
BSEL mod does not adjust voltage, BUT: VID (Voltage IDentification, target stock voltage) is also selected with internal configuration of several pins. You can pinmod your CPU to higher voltage as well, to make a permanent overclock which will work on any motherboard, without the need for any BIOS configuration. I can post the pin mod for LGA771 if you want.
