Wow that's a trip, the range within the batch. Same was true with 820a599.

Anyone receive an 822 in the US?

As always it's hard to say, hit or miss even within a certain batch.

I haven't been tuned in on buying one since summer, but last I checked most in US were getting 820 and in EU 822. Can't remember hearing of any other e86 batch.

Here is my humble contribution to this thread:

Vcore can probably be a tad lower, set it to 1.296 to be safe, i don't want to go through another boring few hours of prime

    Setup:

    E8600 Q822A435, vid 1.1750 - Rampage Extreme- watercooling.

3+ hours of Prime small FFT's cause small puts the most strain on the CPU.

Yeah, it's a nice CPU, it can run 4GHz undervolted to a whopping 1.12V and 4.3GHz with just 1.204V -- Orthos small ffts stable that is. 20ºC+ ambient.

Yeah awesome voltage for those speeds. Can you share your other settings with us?
I'm curious whether settings like CPU PLL and vTT contribute to this.

Damn dude, those are really low values compared to what I use. I think that REX is a really nice board and it's awesome that it employs so many sensors.

These are my bios settings for 4.4Ghz (464 x 9.5) Prime stable settings:
    - vCore 1.4125v (gives 1.344v under load in CPU-z)
    - CPU PLL 1.58v
    - VTT 1.26v
    - vNB 1.55v

    CPU: Intel Core i7 920 (4.02Ghz @ 1.35v) (3836A875)
    Mobo: Asus P6T-Deluxe (bios 1701)
    RAM: Corsair TR3X6G1600C8D (1700Mhz @ 8-8-8-24-1T)
    Videocard: Club3D HD7950 RoyalKing 3Gb
    Soundcard: Asus Xonar DGX
    HDD's: 1 x 256Gb Samsung SSD 840 Pro and 3 x 640Gb Samsung F1 Spinpoint
    PSU: Zalman 850W

Zeus -- great results there bud! Very nice chip.

CandyMan -- you're doing fine. Considering my E8600 needs 1.4v for 4.33GHz I'd say your little E8400 is better than my chip. Make sure you have the latest Core Temp to see accurate temps.

Just had to try at even lower voltage, merely for bragging rights.

1.288V stable as a rock, i won't discourage you guys by saying even lower could be possible but i have a gut feeling....

Man, you're one lucky b.... I need this for my Q822A435 VID 1.2000

Still testing if it can withstand 4 hours of Orthos, rightnow it's priming for 2.5 hours so no complaints (finally got it stable after flashing older bios for my P45 T2RS Plus and tweaking GTL on second core)
