I got this ram a year ago not knowing how good it would be and got lucky. Are all current AxeRam modules using D9 chips or only the older ones? I see on the Transcend website all iterations of AxeRam are still available for purchase but not sure if they changed the kind of chips they are using. http://ec.transcendusa.com/product/p...139&indexnum=1
Nope, the model numbers are different from the older kits. The ones with D9 all ended in QLJ, signifying 64Mx8 ICs. These current kits have QLU in the model number and have 128Mx8 ICs. My D9GMH aXeRam 1200 kit got replaced with a non-D9 version and I noted the model number change.
