very interesting pic Tommy...![]()
Good lord...if I'm looking at that correctly, then that heatsink is only covering maybe 70% of that GPU die. That can't be good right?
Just stick your pinky in there while its on to see if it's hot![]()
Tommy_Hewitt, your cooler; how many slots does it take up? i need a cooler for my card but i only have room for a 2 slot solution.

I think I misunderstood your question the first time, The fan is a Silverstone FM121. Other then that I made it myself, I took the frame for the middle fan of the P180 and attached it to two drive bay covers. Cost nothing and works great.I plan on changing the fan with an ultra kaze 2000 soon.

I want to overclock more but a think a got a bad batch, Q801A290. I recently just upped it to 4.0ghz (444*9 1:1) 1.372 vcore. Ram @ 4-4-4-12. 2.1v
It idles @ 34/35, but under Intel burn test I will hit 67/68, With my Tuniq, I thought that Load temp would be lower, Any Ideas?
My case temps range from 30C to 34C when gaming, Any ideas on that or is that okay?

wasup Tommy , i see that u change classic cooler ( flat-base ) with a xigmatek HDT , big surprise !!!
Tommy: i wonder if you could make a review between the Scythe Musashi, TR T-Rad & AC Twin Turbo/Accelero. that would be much appreciated.![]()
I haven't tested it yet..........
??? The Xigmatek cooler is not mine. That rig was just for a friend. I still use Thermalright ^^. However the Xigmatek is quite nice.
That's only possible when I'm able to get a HD48x0 to test it on. Unfortunately T-Radē and AC don't fit on a 8800GTX![]()

You need to stop putting your components on towels.
May I ask why? All I can think of is the fibres snagging.
