I just got my 8400 q828 wafer #11 in the mail with a p5q-e and 4gb g.skill 8000 cl5q. So far i'm just making sure everything is stable, running 3.6hz 400 x 9 at 1.1v cpuz
Currently loading at 52c with xigmatek 1283 and antec tri cool on medium inside an antec sonata.
will try 4ghz later
EDIT; Got impatient. 4ghz is running ~61c on intel burn test ATM. However, 4ghz is taking 1.30vcore in bios 1003. Under load it is dropping to 1.232 - 1.240 in cpuz. I do not have load line correction enabled as I read it does bad things to chips..
Anyone else getting this 0.06 - 0.07 droop under load? Are any bioses better at handling this? I'm not sure I want to enable LLC or do a vdroop mod...
Looks like this chip is pretty average, anyone care to comment?
