The dual-wall is nice. Not sticky to begin with, and easy to slide over wire/sleeve. Once heated the glue melts and the tube shrinks, which can squeeze a bit of glue out of the ends, like in this pic (this only happened on 3/8 shrink, not on 1/8, I assume because 3/8 has more glue inside). That may not look as clean as regular shrink, but the glue is strong and I like the security, actual and psychological.
I noticed that most resellers use regular shrink to sleeve their fans. In a few cases the shrink doesn't "grip" enough, and I can either slide the sleeve + heat-shrunk end freely, or pull the sleeve out of the shrink entirely

. Very nasty. I chose glue-lined to avoid that (for a small price premium).
