It's not a golden chip, though. I guess 37xx is possible on dice. Too hard coldbug, 365Mhz at 24c idle... Like my 170 BQ from way back

Opteron 190 What the hell its really ! Looks like air cooling..stepping ? I think 3.8 ghz will be broken with dice.

Didn't know such thing existed, very nice
Any idea how many were made?
Also I dug out this 3200 that I keep for "backup",used to be an office
workhorse a few years back.Never pushed it anywhere.
    cbbfd 0431upaw

any idea on it's "potential" ?
Some of you had these at 3.2ghz (guess amd was right about performance rating; in a way)

It's a Winchester, right? For winchesters, you want the CBBHD cpu's, those have close to no coldbug.

    And Bruce ... you're insane

Hehe, which of my WR's did you get now?

Edit: nvm, found out myself Need to dig my chip out of the mess again someday I think... But congrats! This will be a fight, as I have a feeling you're on the limit - and I THINK I can get a LITTLE more out of my chip - didn't risk too much the last time as I was afraid i might kill the poor thing But if you can reach 3620 or so, I may have to look for a better one...

I could boot with more than 1.8 volts on that chip but it has a hard cold bug....354 mhz @ +9c and 357 mhz @ +10c...but when you think there is much place you arent right...the cpu will too hot with more than +11c...

What was your stepping ? LCBIE should be very fine...

BTT: tomorrow i will test my first X2 4600+ toledo will try to kick your score from throne .... should be possible...step is LCBIE 0628 CPMW. Whats yours ?

CCBIE 0608BPMW. Good luck with the 4600+, my score will be broken easily I think 3430Mhz on a 12 multi Toledo is quite poor - at least for a WR. I bet 3.6+ is possible with the right chip. Mine did 2800 @ 1.32v on air stable if I remember correctly - this was a LONG time ago. No idea why the 3800+'s 0608 are so much better htan the 4600+, I had 3 of them - and they all sucked.

Btw, I had an X2 3800+ LCBIE 0627TPMW once Did 2950 stable at 1.32v, but died during an IHS removal. No idea if it's better than your chip on air, not even sure it's better than my old WR chip. Just thought i'd mention that

    Hehe right

Here is the score with the toledo: 3587 mhz @ 1.712 volts ---> k.i.h. again !!!
Did 3180 mhz with default vcore cpu-z ( 1.312 v)....cold bug like the once above. had to do all scores with around +7 to +11c...
3.6 ghz will eventually possible but i had less time.

will do some superpi with that chip.

LCBIE will be my favorites in the future I love it....
    Opteron 185, X2 3800+, X2 4600+ and other ones have that stepping.

Found an 3800+ Venice E3 0514 GPBW but it sucks very hard...less than 3.2 ghz by the way But this chip was cheap.

Knut i saw that you benched one Xeon intel processor ??? what was that ? are you going to intel ?

Nice score, and now i must go looking for a better one

Yeah I bought a Xeon, but that's because I need it for my GPUs I have quite a few x1xxx ATI-cards, and geforce 6 + 7, and you need an Intel chip to get HWBoints with those.

Don't worry, I'm not going to the dark side just yet My friend in Germany is outside posting an AMD package FYI Wooo-hooo! I also found out they have a dice machine at the university over here. Maybe I'll go ask for some

I'm going to OC more, I just need a new board - or to fix one of old ones so both orange memory slots are working. I want some HWBoints for superpi etc etc, too - so I can't really use 1.7v++ when I'm doing suicides in chips that haven't been benched I wonder if the 156 scales with voltage... 1.63 was all it needed for 4g

    Hehe...that 156 is huge !

The orange ram slots didnt work on my SLI-D..could only use the yellow ones. So i modded an Ultra-D to take superpi and so on....
