    More than that ,15-20% i guess. From what i know E8400 and E5200 have the same core, 45nm, Intel virtualiztion E5200 does'nt have.
    The main diference is the cache which is 6mb for E8xxx and 2mb for E5200/
    Anyway this E5200 do a great concurence to E7xxx, and smash with al x2 series from Amd up to X2 6400, an even to triple core
    It's seems that Intel realy wants to crush Amd

    I dont think its 15-20%, I saw some tests a while ago where the e7300 was usually less than 5% slower, <10% in the worst cases, comparing with an wolfdale.

    The e5200 cache is just 1Mb smaller vs e7300, so I doubt it will be near 15% slower than an wolfdale.

    Not exactly the CPU's we are talking about, but here are some interesting core2duo 4Mb vs 2Mb cache numbers:

    May be youțre right, thing is this Cpu, apperead from a mont, and even now, i can't found a serious review on net, all a i have found is some 3dmarks, and super Pi scores from forums

    I think superpi benefits alot from big caches, unlike most stuff out there
