    Greetings!

I have the GA-EP45-DS3R with bios F8 (have tried F6), but I can't get any stable OC at 500 fsb, such as reviewers can (se eg techreport, hwt (danish) ). What settings do you use? You can find a bios template here.

    My sys specs:
E6300 (it has worked stable at 3,5 ghz, 500 fsb, for over a year, standard vcore, on Asus P5N-E SLI, so I know it can clock!)
    2 x 2 gb Mushkin PC2-8500 CL5 (1066 mhz)
    Corsair HX620 PSU

    Help much appreciated!

Set this one up for my nephew yesterday and it took his E8400 EO to 4Ghz (9x450) with auto settings on everything but the ram voltage which we put to 2.2v. It was very easy to work with except for the memory timings. We were using Kingston 8500 ram and I could not get it to run higher than 1:1 ratio, nor could I get it to run tighter timings than what auto set them at. Since I did not have a lot time to fool with it I cannot confirm if it was an issue with the ram or MB. We were using the latest bios if that helps. Vcore on auto was at 1.36v idle and 1.34v load, not much vdroop on this board from what I can tell.

Left vcore on auto in the bios and in windows it was 1.36v. When I ran OCCT, vcore dropped to 1.34v, which I thought was amazing.

I tried the I45 before this board and I did not like having to set the CF with jumpers and then having to run a separate power molex to the center of the board. This is 2008, not 1998.

after haveing this board. i am starting to like it more.. i jsut dont knwo enough about it and the bios t oget any farther...

i have gotten it stable(E8400) @ 4.0ghz ran there over a day 1/2 no problems other than my volts being high vcore set at like1.50v just to get 1.36v and then it still moved around a little.. does anyone know if this board has or is capable of LLC? or able to adjust the FSB volts? i currently have it running at 3.8ghz and fly's through stuff with ease. i am wanting to figure out more about he board and its bios settings to try and get 4.1=4.3 stable... my E8400 is the C0 stepping so i might be pushing it to get 4.3ghz.... any tips? ideas? thoughts?
