about cooling the inductors, just remember that they and the MOSFETs are most likely rated up to and/or over the 100C mark. added heat sinks may do nothing at all aside from jam up the area blocking airflow...they may also transfer the heat better to airflow through your case and aid in getting the air they are warming up out so who knows either way, never hurts to try things though. will keep my eyes open for results
The whole thing that started me on all this is ASUS probe gets a warning after 45c on the power sensor. Makes a hell of a noise, scared the out of my dog. Why they have it set to 45c i really dont know. Might be nothing to worry about. But i figure better safe then sorry.
