not just you scott. :P
i buy, and dont preview lately. Too busy to sit down and show off and then answer questions. :\
I pass on testing. I dont have the time to do an accurate and detailed test. Plus my testing methodology is all changed now because i linpack and not Prime or OCCT. So my data would only tell you if it was better then X block and not by how much greater.
I already have too many CPU to throw retesting on.

Gah... no more toys for me, please... I drowning in them already.
Only toy i want is the BP 780i block right now. But i'll even pay for a sample. :\

Also Andy, most privite club houses only take bill me later, and not pay after eat. :\
You cant eat at a privite unless you or a friend is a member let alone play golf there.![]()

Looks good Tony!
If I ever decide to water cool another PC, I'll give one of these a try. (The last block I had was a swiftech storm)

Looks nice, but that internal pin structure seems like the pins are too big to provide optimal thermal transfer. Most pin matrices are smaller and closer packed to cause more turbulence as in the D-Tek Fuzion and Swiftech Apogee.

My 680i A1 is not responding... WTF
Hmm I wonder if I can use BP 3/4 OD compressions since there are screws sticking out, getting in the way.

Its none of my business, but my opinion still stands. I think manufacturer reliance on product testing by forum enthusiasts is a dubious proposition with minimal upside and sizable downside. If I were to manage a water block company, I will have full confidence that my products will have performance that speak for themselves, and I will not trust marketing channels where I have no control.

I have to agree with IanY. This sounds like a Mickey Mouse operation. This improper English and quotes below don’t instill much confidence with me.
As mentioned earlier i have hundreds of blocks in the first order just about to ship, there is a small issue regarding adding 4x2mm thick washers
OCZ are not looking to win here, we are looking to compete.
It is more restrictive than the Fusion, a friend here who tested earlier prototypes compared and confirmed this to me.

I can only think posotively when a manufacturer provides parts for testing. To me it means they are standing behind thier products and believe they are genuinly good and perform well. What other incentive is there besides making an effort to get the truth out there. Exposure is always a good thing and it's not costing anyone here anything but time to test some parts. That appears to be a win win for the end users and forum readers...I can only see good coming out of it.....
I'll still volunteer myself since NaeKuh has stepped down.
I have results from tests which cover everything you see from Gabe or the guys at D-Tek, OCZ choose to keep this info private. Now I could have come here and quoted this block out performs every other block on the market, i could have said its cheaper than all the other performance blocks and as such its bang per buck is the best...but I didn't and I am not saying that. The block may not be the cheapest and it may not be the best for temps. I came to XS as there are people here who test blocks well, i offered 2 blocks for free with no strings attached for members to test and openly publish what they find. I did this as I respect what goes on here in the watercooling forum and i feel if we compete here with independent tests then end users will look at the OCZ block as a viable alternative to other blocks on the market. I have only shipped 1 other block that has been publicly tested and I linked you to that test, it had some restrictions placed on the info that could be posted as this was with a prototype block.
My statement we came to compete not win is valid, im confident in the performance tests i ran here with temp controlled water, I tested many blocks and some we beat, some we were equal to and a few we lost. Its not for me to quote those tests its up to independent reviews to find the answers and end users to make an informed choice whether they think our block is what they want.
I feel that there is not much performance that can still be gained, waterblocks have come a long way in the past 2 yrs and its going to come down to aesthetics more than performance moving forward. Once you hit that plateau its hard to push higher, but you sure can make it look better getting there.
Blocks will be shipped in a day, they will take 3 to 5 days to hit the testers and then we will all see how they do. Overall as long as they compete with the competition I will be pleased, if they win I get a bonusLOL
Please now stop the bickering

G1/4 threaded for barbs, plenty of space round them for any fitting. We did this so you could insulate the tubes to the block.
