Start tweaking now Cesar... try first Static Read Control to Enabled...test thoroughly... then try transaction booster to eg 10 and try to find again ya lowest stable value... good luck and cool them dimms !!!
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

I couldn't get mine stable at that speed but, I did get it into windows and what not though . I think if you buy the $300 dollar 2x 2Gb G-Skill sticks rated at that speed though, it is probably possible yes.

Maybe it is because you are using a low fsb and it is not as stressfull on the NB that let you get such a good PL. I get this as the lowest.. Maybe I should try for lower now after seeing this. It has been awhile since I have tried to get lower PL. Here is what I get right now,

It's because he is using the 2:3 divider, so PL6 is doable. On 4:5, the lowest you can get is PL8, and as we all know the lowest you can get on 1:1 is 10.

I try all kind of settings but seems my RAM cannot go to 1200 MHz But it goes to 1160 with 1 notch tighten timings than auto and i am happy... 2:3 is on 266.

You don't really get much for choices with a Q9450 with their low multi.

You can pretty much only do 1:1 or 5:6 with that CPU unless you have some miracle RAM i'd say. (edit: i'm referring to 2x2 GB kits...obviously you could with good 2x1 D9GMH kits)

Could be solved by a bit more Vcore, better cooling, higher PL,... numerous options to try...

which FSB ? Ram used ?
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

which FSB ? Ram used ?
    Hi again,

I'm using right now 412MHz bus speed, but it was the same with 400MHz. In both cases PL8 and Moderate Clock Twister, PL7 freezes windows (with memset) and don't post (bios).

My RAM is 4x1Gb Geil Ultra 4-4-4-12@800, but i had loosen muy timmings to 4-5-4-14 in order to get stability.

    Regards.

Start with 0803 mate (prolly stock bios) if you have issues regarding OC's or ram you can upgrade to eg 1306 or even 1402...

But test 0803 first , it's a very good bios...

    hello,

does anyone know if OCZ DDR2 4GB D/C Kit PC2-8000 4GB Platinum Edition Dual Channel (OCZ2P10004GK)
    http://www.infonec.com/site/main.php...tail&id=352357
is okay with the P5Q Deluxe?

what if i get 2 sets (4x2gb)....anyone have experience with this combo? would i have to lower to 800 for them to work?

right now, they're going for about the same price as OCZ DDR2 PC2-6400 Vista Performance Platinum 4GB (2x2gb) (OCZ2P8004GK)

just wondering, cuz the pc8000 (OCZ2P10004GK) are not on the Qualified Vendors list for the P5Q Deluxe,
but the pc6400 (OCZ2P8004GK) is on the list.
