Why is Vdroop so bad on this mobo without LLC? Its got 8 phases sure that must be enough?

I found this mobo more picky now, at anything under PL10 it wont boot when 400fsb strap is set and 1:1 ram, disabling the fsb strap, well setting it to Auto and running ram at 5:6 I now can boot at PL8.
