    LOL

I thought it was some of that isolation material (you know, the one put around hot pipes...)

Well, anyway, it works real well in the bling sense and yeah, red pcb is so much nicer

    Hey, it's overrated.

A layer of acrylic underneath it (or something) would solve the problem. I'm a bit scared about just using tape after I fried a card by dropping an LED light on it which I thought had a plastic casing. Turned out it was some cheap metal.

I got my HD4870 a few days ago.

I also got 2 more Scythe Ultra Kaze 3000rpm fans, I added one onto my IFX-14 and the other is blowing on my RAM

Its awesome , I get like 61C load temps. The stock cooler (from what I have read in reviews) gets 81C +, also my room temp would be about the same as their's. Also when I overclock to 800MHz the temps did go up

    Hey fatguy1992, looks sweet.

How loud is your PC with those 3 Kaze's? I'm running 1 and it sounds like a jet engine...

I'm assuming you have the 3,000s, right?

How do the cards cope with being passively cooled? I placed an 80mm fan outside my case, right by the output cables, to help remove the heat, works wonderfully.

I have a coolit ram cooler and it works GREAT, when i touched my tracers when it wasnt installed i burnt myself, now they are a lot cooler. Looks a lot better than the OCZ one to me, i modded it with red leds

sorry for the bad cabling, i have too many fans (12) and not enough time!

no, sorry, they are crap. they were only 2 euros each, so i bought some. They are silent (run @1200RPM, not the specified 1400 xilence claims) but they barely push any air.

They are not passively cooled, there are 2 100mm scythe kaze slim (2000rpm version) fans on each of the accelero's, they keep it around 32C idle, with the side panel open of course

Works well. It was the fan that came with the xigamtek cooler and just decided to put a stronger fan on it instead so moved the xigmatek as exhaust. It pushes a ton of air and is quiet, but that could be due to the stronger fan on the heatsink pushing more air.
