what was your voltages set at. Dude, i wouldnt drop in another processor until you find out how it died. Or things will keep on dying.
actually it was all default, though i did do the mistake of dropping the processor a few times but i wouldn't think that would cause in issue im guessing i cracked the one of the dies

I did have one thought, the JR only has 4 phases of power to the CPU. That's not many these days. If the power regulation wasn't up to scratch, could that kill a CPU?

Again, it may have just been a nasty power spike or something.
no your safe it was on one of my P5E-VM HDMIs and i think its actually a physical defect in the processor
