I can answer that question:

There is a distinct difference between the two. A Murderbox is a fully modded complete computer system built by Charles himself. It is only offered locally and Charles offers complete support and at-home delivery. That is what this thread is, Friedchicken's Murderbox. A murderMod, however, is just the case and it's components, and they will be available worldwide once the official site is up and running. So, to answer your question, it's a distinguished brand name, if you will, between the two.
