What a load of garbage....
I have 2 e8400 processors both running at 4500+ 24/7 one since Jan 18th, 2008 the other since Jan.24th, 2008
One liquid cooled on a P5E one.
The other aircooled and it ran on the P5Ke-wifi for the 1st 5 months and on a P5Q-Pro (POS) for the last 3 months.
Neither Processor has ever seen below 1.5V most of the time they have been set closer to 1.6 v-core.
Both processors are still as good as they were day one. This is just another myth started by someone who sucked at overclocking
and fried his chip and of course it had to be the Chip's fault!!!
My temps stay just fine even at 4700mhz. My aircooled system stays in the low 30's at idle and never above the low 60's at work
Check the sig it's all there.
