    cant oc at all?!?!?!

    so i got some (8 gigs) of the twin2x4096c5dhx, since its psc and they are supposed to oc better than the c4 one but it wont oc at all, is there a reason for this, might i have gotten a bad stick that is holding the others down? pls help, if thee dont oc over 1066 ive thrown 250$ down the drain since i already had the c4 edition

    Try to OC each individually. If each of them can reach the speeds that you're having problems at, perhaps the load is too great for your motherboard.

    Good advice. OCing on a 780i with 4 up is going to be very limited.

    You'll need to really tune/tweak your memory controller voltages and also make sure it is well cooled to OC 4 up.

    yeah, first i had the c4 oones at 1066 fully stable but one day i would have random bsods (thats after like 2 months of usage) at stock voltage but not to void the warranty i decided to just lower it to 1000 at 1.90V so i was at td in miami and decided to buy the c5 ones since they have psc chips but now i cant oc these at all, not even at 1000, is it possible that i have a bad stick?

    Are you mixing the modules or running the new modules alone? Can you list ALL the info from the stickers on the modules and also list ALL bios settings you have made for RAM, CPU, and voltages. If you are running 4 up, your OCing on 780i is going to be VERY limited especially when compared to your OC with 2 up.

    new modules alone i remember something about v4.0 or 4.1 rated at 800 at 5 5 5 18
    with the d9s i could get 1000 what all 4 of them in at the same time but it cant even do that with the new ones

    just now realized that i need to update my sig

    ok so im at 1066 with the second set, i couldnt get that with the first set, gonna try oc 'ing it alittle more now
    edit:im at 1080 atm, no post with them at 1100
