Think i have seen that problem too on my deluxe, sometimes with LLC set the system will randomly reboot for no reason

470ish mate for daily ops... but I wouldn't go over 450FSB... think it's more CPU related then mobo wise , I have primed with CPU under water at 500FSB but the excessive voltages (Vcore, PLL and FSB Term voltage) my Qx needs then to be stable is not worth it for me...

Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

Did you properly install all the ATI drivers mate ?
    Yes, I think I did.

Fixed it now by first installing some Microsoft HD Audio update, then installing seperate ATI HDMI drivers.

Yup I have the -E too, and seem to be having issues with stability on it too, mainly on the memory side of things, I cant seem to get what used to be good overclocking RAM, stable, and it seems to be with both 1201 and 1103, I have reverted back to the best bios I know of to date for this board which is 1003, and amazingly, my RAM is overclocking and memtesting fine, so much for improved memory compatability in 1201 and 1103, they might of improved some in it but they seem to of lost a load of others in the process.

Has anyone played with skews on this board at all? I find at 450fsb cpu skew 400 and 100 nb skew appear to make everything feel more efficient although I don't see anything in benchmark results. As for dram skews... has anyone touched these? From what I can understand it adjusts for the different trace path lengths in the dimms. Helpful for duel channel. Has anyone played with the yellow slot skews (1 and 3)?

oh and i'm still with bios 0803. The newer ones make my system wonky.

Hmm... maybe I missed that. I didn't write down the settings from that CPU page, just the AI Tweaker page. I tried to do that other page from memory...

    I'll go back and check.

EDIT: CPUID Value Limit was DISABLED to start with.

Well I received the right chips and I still get lockups on 1201..It is a communication error between the hard drives and the board for some reason on the newer bios now but, again I was on the 1102 fine before I pushed it to hard and lost her. I trhink it might be something on my hard drives TBH. I need to talk to western digital and see what they think.

    Orthos failed after 30min.

Can someone explain to me wht the GTLref and PLL voltages do? I've raised them and they've bought me extra time in Orthos but I don't know the meaning behind them.

I don't know what your settings are supposed to be but they have to do with your processor as far as I know. I have mine set to .63, .63, and 1.56 and it is rock solid but you have a .65nm so it is different I know that.

Do the Velociraptors work well with this board because honestly I am tired of Raid issues with these drives?

I can run the Intel burn test thing and it clears the test at my setting in my sig with no issues at all. I had to bump my nb voltage to 1.28 but, I had it at 1.26 so nothing big. That's my 2 cents any way.
It is strange though, I am of the belief that a PC should be able to run anything for any length of time if it is indeed stable. If it cannot, and the software has been proven stable on may other setups, including others using the very same board, I think the hardware is at fault.

No I don't use LLC, I think droop is necessary. I have tried upping it one notch, but I will try one more, however if the cpu was causing it, wouldn't it fail small FFT rather than pass it and instead fail large FFT like it is doing?

I have to try that linpack program and see what it says. I can game for hours with no issues and the machine is stable under all circumstances except orthos large FFT (have not tried blend though, but I would assume when the FFT length approached that of Large FFT setting it would fail after awhile).

Also, I still cannot boot the ram between DDR 1200 & 1275 MHz. However I can boot at DDR 1277 all of a sudden, like it comes out of a hole. Very weird behaviour. I think my board is damaged somehow, as I have tried every bios from 610 to 1201 and all do the same thing.

Stability is depending on ya own preferences mate, some prefer 12 hours prime small FFT's and then afterwards large, some run an OCCT test cpu and mixed, some do superpi runs, some do benchmarks, some make a mix... if the rig is stable in daily usage and you don't experience any anomalies consider it stable for your usage... I find it absolutely waste of time and cycles to prime for such extended periods but to each his own not even considering the extra load on ya pc's components

I run the same ram kit here for testing, mine cap out at 1240mhz... sadly for you the P45 is not a SuperPi slasher... hope high FSB can do it for ya...
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

I usually start compressing huge size of files with 7-zip and Orthos Mixed mode at the same time. If it doesn't fail that it'll most probably be 100% stable for everything youdo usually.
