Just go Maximus Extreme and DDR3, it's inevitable. Might as well do it. That's where I'm headed myself; as my rampage's brilliant life got exterminated by a cold, unwelcomed shower. Grrrrr....

Replace it why? If ASUS is going to replace it with another MF. You told them that you messed up the pins and there still going to warranty it?

Now why would I tell them that?
All Asus needs to know is it wont post, but my point in a replacement is I dont want to wait a month for a new mobo, So if I grab a new board now I'm down for a few days and sell the MF when it comes in.
If I wait I'm down for about a month or so. I tried to get a cross ship but they wont on the SE so you know they dont have stock. So I'm stuck using my laptop or I suppose I could grab my son's A8N SLI Deluxe and pound the FX-60 but where would the fun in that be?
