$5000+ Build: Comments?

it's been pounded to death though. a $2000 system would meet any requirements, but he's bent on blowing his 5k budget and wants to be able to brag about it.

lol. true.

i dont see the point though. the system is going to be obsolete soon anyways. its cheaper, and better performance-wise to just keep upgrading.

with $10k you can build a new $2k box every 6mo or some upgrades, and stay on the cutting edge for a few years. instead of a $10k box that is useless is 18mo.


but that's nothing to brag about.
