When I put my twin OCZ Platinum 1333mhz ones for a total of 4GB (4 x 1GB)
it was unstable as hell even at my 24/7 3.7Ghz stable setup.
You should look at OCZ forum there are some stickies written by Tony with advise on how to get 4gb stable and how to set up the P5E3-Premium.

I manage to stabilize my system (FINALLY) by reducing ram clock speed from 1800Mhz to 1600Mhz with pretty good timings (7-7-7-21-1N) and FSB 400 (multiplier 9.0). The only other things changed are DRAM READ and WRITE CONTROL (both disabled), LLC (Normal) and SPECTRUMS (both disabled). Vcore is set to 1.360V (CPU-Z reading - in BIOS IS two or three clicks more) and Vram is set to 1.8V (stock voltage was 1.9V with 8-7-6-21). The rest left in AUTO.
You shold set the NB voltage manually. When you want to run your memory (2x1Gb) at 1800Mhz it needs about 1.6 - 1.65v. I run mine at 1780Mhz with 1.65v stable.
