try 500FSB /1200 mhz on the ram Solarfall, you can have a a way lower PL then... 1:1 is usually locked at 10 PL... good rams are a MUST on these P45's....
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

0901 bios is just fine so far. A problem I had with resuming from sleep mode with fsb higher than 422 is resolved. The bios seems stable so far. I just ran OCCT at 4.2 ghz for one hour stable.

Which 4GB set would you recommend?
    Going for G.Skill F2-8800CL5D-4GBPI DDR2-1100 4GB or GEIL BlackDragon EVO ONE PC2-8500(DDR2-1066MHz)/4GB

Just got this new set up and I can't get my E8400 to run at 3.0ghz (stock speed). I've already set both C1E and IST to off, but cpu-z shows my speed at 2.0ghz and a multiplier of 6. Is this a problem with the mb or the cpu?

This is normal as the new intel CPUs have power saving features. Load a program and watch CPU-Z. It will then show briefly the "correct" speed.

but he said that he turned off both C1E and IST in BIOS so it shouldnt be reducing his multiplier.

Is anyone running a E8600 on this board yet?
Just pickup a E8600 here today in Japan but was told that the board needs a bios update to run it as the E8600 comes with the E0 stepping

Guys im having trouble with the Sound, i get no sound whatsoever. I went to the Asus site to download the sound drivers for this board, and when i try to install it i get a "Hardware incompatible" error. Is any1 else having this problem or is it just me?

This is of course the sound card that came with the board.

yeh, Stupid me i thought it didnt matter. The thing is that when the card is in the Black slot, it doesnt allign with my case, so i put it in the other slot. I cant mout it on cuz it doesnt allign. I tried untightening the mobo screws and shifting the mobo but it didnt help. Its not the case because i had no problems with the board before this one (Same board, had to RMA it)

But its working, and ive got sound now. It just looks bad when looking at the case -_- ill take pictures tomorrow.

    Thanks though!

    To high
But you mast change thermal compound, and screw down to max all screws (NB screws is important) after that your temp must go down.
