This appears to work with Forceware 177.XX drivers and up only I believe. Provided you have those initial drivers installed, after you install the newest PhysX driver v08.07.18 (Link to download driver) go to the Start menu, open the "Nvidia Corporation" folder and you should see "NVIDIA PhysX Properties" there. Click on it and check the Settings tab. Should look something like this:

I reinstalled vista, fresh driver ect... I ran 3dmark06 everything seemed ok, after the benchmark completed my screen started flashing, it goes from normal desktop to all black, and blinks kind of randomly. Is it possible to ruin a card from pushing the clocks up too high too often?

    Interesting...
    Question / Issue
I have random black screen or blinking when connecting to a DVI LCD monitor.

    Answer / Solution
This may be due to a timing issue. One thing to try is to go in to the NVIDIA control panel under display select “manage custom timings” and you want to click on create, and then select advanced down at the bottom right hand side, and there are options for the “timing standard” select “CVT Reduced Blank” click test and then click ok.

Thank you EVGA forums.... I think that fixed the problem. I wonder why I never ran into this before today.

Otis, I can only get it to 3.0ghz.

I've not seen anyone get the Q6600 higher on this board. But I could be wrong.

nuclearjock how the heck did you score 16000, what settings are you using in your control panel and was that score obtained in XP or Vista? Almost a similar setup so I'm just curious.

It looks like my video card did go south. Now I have green dots all over thescreen and this forum has purple lines everywhere. Time to RMA to evga

    Edit:

Picked up a new 9800GTX and a Corsair 1000Watt power supply... this will make me feel better. once the RMA comes back its SLI time.

Sorry to hear your card went south, would be nicer if you could use the step-up program and get a 280.

The dust seems to have settled since BIOS 901 I think, so far everything has been stable 24\7 for a few weeks now. Finally get to really enjoy this board the way we were meant to.

No corruption for me. Only issues I have are some slight crackling audio when using latest video drivers (174.74 fixes this) but I want to use physX in the latest driver set.

Also I get weird network teaming driver and sleep issues, almost have this sorted I think.

1702 linked and synced @ 7-7-7-22 is my max stable but I'm pretty happy with that considering I'm running 2x2GB of ram. Overall I have to say I'm quite happy with this board, if you want SLI it's the way to go IMO.

Hey guys i need a little bit of your world famous experience. I seem to be geting BSOD's everytime i start up. It will only happen once, and then i can use the PC as normal. I get no freezing during games or videos and the system really works well. This only started happening recently, but i havent changed any settings in my bios. Has anyone else had similar problems and what did you do to fix it?

What RAM are you running? Sometimes the bios has very low ram voltages depending on what your sticks are rated for.

The OCZ Platinum 14400 didn't work well for me. But isn't it 8-8-8-24/28 what their rated at? at 1.90v?

Wow, that's impressive with a wolfie. This is what I get with my yorkie.

It looks like the new drivers loose some in 3dmark06 but gain a lot with vantage(mostly because of the Physx support). I think 200 points is just too much to be considrered within the margin for error of multiple 3dmark runs. I hope this improves with the actual WHQL drivers as not all games have Physx support.

Oh yeah, I just watched Micheal Phelps win the gold medal in the 400M IM.

Not sure if I would say it's a failure but I won't argue it was a bumpy ride to get this engine to run smoothly. Now that it is, I can say I'm actually having fun with this board these days. Just needed a good BIOS and lots of patience. All those hours of tweakage were definitely rewarded. Happy camper over here.

    Cheers

well i have to correct myself...freezing is back with 1002.
don't know the deal...0804 is stable but it seems there is some corruption.
maybe the difference between the 2 is the vnb. 1,44v nb works fine with 2x gx2, 4x1333mhz corsairs and 0804 but the same setting freezes now again with the 1002.
do u thing i should increase the vnb? the rest is @ stock setting

20555 Stock clocks on my 9800 GTX's in SLI. I think I can get a lot more out of her once I start OC'ing the cards.

Vantage 13449 Stock clocks again Physx enabled

Wow.., The 177.79 Drivers are really scaling well when I bump my Core clocks up. This board and these video cards are really starting to fly now. This is getting fun!

Finally i found stability with this board!!!

Running my 4GB CSX Diablo DDR3 at 1800FSB 8-8-8-19 linked and sinked P1 and P2 enable!!! My QX9650 is running at 3825 Mhz with only 1,3250v Vcore set on BIOS... not bad i think...
Memtest stable and Prime stable for 5 hours
Also runned 3 loops of 3Dmark 2006 and played Crysis for 1 hour and.... ROCK STABLE!
Will post some Everest bandwidth tests later... ( still priming as i post this) ...
I really tried tight timimgs 8-7-6 and 8-7-7 but gave me errors in Memtest and Prime 95 but i have not give up...

Thats a nice 1:2 overclock. Cant wait to see the everest benchmark. Btw, 1.25vcore for 450Mhz FSB @ 3.8Ghz? I think thats really good, is LLC enabled by any chance?
    Mind posting your voltages?
I would say that you probably need more NB voltage since this are known to do 8-8-8-x on 2000Mhz as posted on CSX (Maybe with a dual-core), are you on water? Cause I would try more NB voltage for sure
Also, posting NB temps would be great

    Thanks Slim!

    ..I´ve made a mistake Vcore isn´t 1,2500v but 1,3250v!!
Im on air at the moment... never donne watercooling but i´m really tempted... my NB temperature is 50ē under load.

    Here is my voltages:

    Vcore 1,3250V
    LCC ENABLED
    PLL 1,50V
    VTT 1,30
    Vdimm 1,86V
    NB 1,48V
    SB 1,55V
    CPU GTL REF0 -29Mv
    CPU GTL REF1 -32Mv
    CPU GTL REF2 -32Mv
    CPU GTL REF3 -29Mv
    NB GTL REF +20Mv
