I'v heard 2 things regarding voltage on the 4870..

first one is the voltage cannot be changed via bios, no matter what you set it is still really 1.263v..


and then somewhere else I heard the voltage can be changed but you cannot go over 1.3v


take that with a grain of salt.. just what i heard
