    Preparations are underfoot.
    Processors are in the mail.
My 754 and 939 addiction grows.
Just looking around for some more ram to try and push things further, hopefully will have some 3200EL and 4800Plat Elite in the next week or two.

OT: Using the nf250gb again reminded me of how DFI got their name for good boards. Its just a lovely board to work with.

Today I testet my Opteron 185 with some superpi....its hard to handle with cold bug but 3.6 ghz with default vcore are possible. but not with ram together...

X2 4800+ is on way to me... and one 4000+ 0631 APMW
Nice Which 185 is that? 0628BPMW? And stepping of that X2 4800+?

I have a feeling you may get my X2 4800+ WR if you've got a good chip, I'm not very satisfied with the one I've got... 3678 isn't THAT high when you have a 12 multi to work with

Hehe...I thought that my Opteron 185 was going 3.6 ghz @ default vcore ...lol...that was my Opteron 156 Today I wonder why I only can bench with 3.55 GHz and 1.6 volts
But there are around 0.8 seconds left...i cant beat the score of knut my memories arent good enough... have to test with tccd @ 2-3-3-0 @ 285 mhz...this could help...

knut, did you tweak your os ? i dont tweak mines. only athlon64 tweaker and bios

I shut down services, make classic "font", only open the apps I need, make the default blue background and when I run pi I usually run 16k twice before starting the bench

I found out about performance mode 3-4 days ago so that "tweak" will be enabled as well the next time

You'll find a 2x512mb Mushkin Redline XP4000 kit on german ebay right now I won't get them (after paying you I don't have much left on my bank account)

I saw that Mushkin kit...looks nice for me...we will see

I only run 16k twice before the 1m run...no more.
I wonder how ugly is the cpu with different ram dividers and cpu multiplier...13x272 and 180er will runs but 12.5x280 and 180er wont do that...without multi 13 i can only bench with 3.45 ghz and not with the 3.55 ghz...

Now, let's use gianni's tweaks to beat his own scores

    Thanks, btw

Edit: I ran an Opty 144 on air last night, and I got 3453MHz on 1.52v and air, 31C temp on the core. I think the coldbug was about 415MHz at 26-27C, so there's room for lower temps. If this chip scales above 1.6v... the WR is mine, and even before my 0530 arrives

But my pi times were quite awful, 25.73s @ 3300MHz! I hope I can earn 0.5s by tweaking the sticks properly, didn't do much with the subtimings this time...

Congrats Need to learn how to use tweaks properly, can't get all the top scores just by pure MHz power

gianni you are my teacher and i m the student first time ever i did so much tweaks...and it helped.

i could run superpi 1m one time only after the boot that was ever the fastest run. if i run a few time more i never get such strong time.
its nice to see that my starting times are slower than knut ones but in the end it will be some faster thats all i need

now i will run with tccd and 1:1...will see the same time !
