welcome!
Major Reasons of Change:
1. Fixed system can not display with some Graphic card.
2. Optimized system O.C. function.
3. Fixed on board audio record function.
4. Fixed “Execute Disable Bit” function fail.
5. Fixed USB keyboard fail to hot key to reload CMOS.
Hello. I address on this forum for the first time and I hope to me will help with my problem.
My configuration:
E3110
X48-T3RS
2x1Gb Cellshock BLUE 1866GHz ( http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/C...15000U_CL8_2GB
http://www.nexthardware.com/recensioni/scheda/107.htm
)
XFX GTX260 XXX
Silverstone DA650
I CPU seems stable in OCCT in a current of 6-8 hours 450x9. My memory allows to be loaded in OS using a thong 400/1600 with pressure 1.93-1.95V... But is extremely not stable. Pressure increase leads BSOD or "the black screen" stiffens...
I used in BIOS:
CPU VID Control....................... 1.34
CPU VID Special Add Limit....... Enabled
CPU VID Special Add.................. Auto
DRAM Voltage Control.......... 1.93-1.95
SB Core/CPU PLL Voltage.......... 1.51
NB Core Voltage....................... 1.63
CPU VTT Voltage...................... 1.35
DRAM Speed......................... 400/1600
PCIE Clock.................................. 101
GTL REF Voltage Control........... Enable
CPU GTL 1/2 REF Volt................... 88
CPU GTL 0/3 REF Volt................... 62
North Bridge GTL REF Volt............. 62
Below CAS Latency Time (tCL)......... 7
RAS # to CAS # Delay (tRCD)............7
RAS # Precharge (tRP).....................7
Precharge Delay (tRAS).................. 21
Skew Model 1,3,5 - BSOD/2,4,6,7 - Crashed in a current of 2-3 seconds OCCT.
Common CMD to CS Timing............ 1N
I have left other values by default. Whether my options are correct? What should I change?
Thanks.
I am sorry for my bad English...
I don't know if you have already tried but just for testing purposes try "disabling" your GTL REF Voltage Control and just use the Auto settings. I've run a few different chips on this board (QX9770, Q9550, E8400, and E8500ES) and they were all capable of 450Mhz x 9 without using GTL REF Voltages (of course all systems are different but give it a try). Besides that your voltages look resonable (except maybe disable the "CPU VID Special Add Limit"). The 400/1600 divider seems to be the most reliable and forgiving so that is fine. You could also try testing just your RAM (using bootable version of MemTest or Windows version of Memtest), just to make sure your RAM is not the problem. Last but not least, what BIOS are you currently using? By the way welcome for the forum!

Must be nice, both of my Sapphire's won't work on this board. I'll know in a few minutes if the new version works![]()
I agree. Looks like I may other problems, that didn't fix it![]()
It get's to POST code 75 or 7F depending if I hit the Del key, but no output to monitor. The board is fine, just came out of the box.
Just tested both cards in another board, they work fine. This is DFI's problem.
Guys is there any good soul following this thread willing to give me a hand with overclocking my Q9450 with this motherboard and corsair dhx ddr3 rams??I'm a bit of a noob with all these new settings and i'm a bit scared of touching stuff..If so just send me a pm so we don't flood the forum(with my stupid questions :P )

I used 7.14 and 7.25...
And I am confident in the stability of its processor... OCCT test "CPU" seems stable during min 8-10 hours...
Perhaps I should change your memory in the BIOS, but many settings DFI does not allow me to do it right quickly.
I spent a long time, but had not made good progress.
Today, I checked the memory of the default through Memtest of Windows - the result 0 errors...
I also appealed for help in Cellshock BLUE theme in this forum.
Thank you.

Good work Praz
You're fast. Thanks.
Praz - Your one of the few people I've seen who enable the settings below. I just enabled the settings myself to see how it effects my settings and benchmarks. What benefits do you see from enabling these settings (being one of the few who does enable them)? I assume the main benefit is the powersavings and maybe lower tempertures?
Thermal Management Control................Enabled
PPM (EIST) Mode...........................Enabled
Limit CPUID MaxVal........................Disabled
CIE Function..............................Auto
Execute Disable Bit.......................Enabled
Virtualization Technology.................Enabled

Thermal Management Control - Does nothing if the processor does not reach an excessive temperature.
PPM (EIST) Mode - Fine stepping speed and voltage throttling which I disable in Windows (Vista).
CIE Function - When VDROOP is set to enabled drops mutiplier to 6x and lowers voltage when idle. The system is completely stable so might as well take advantage of it for a 24/7 machine.
Execute Disable Bit - Designed for the prevention of buffer overflow attacks. So there is no good reason not to have it enabled on a 24/7 machine. Some claim that it causes instability. Not true. If stability becomes an issue then the system wasn't stable to begin with.
Virtualization Technology - With what I do has no effect one way or the other so I just leave it as is.
Benching I would set those differently. But for 24/7 I use the settings as posted.
