I am using this. So heatsink is not making proper contact with the CPU because of those damn things.
mine has those nubs to they come through the board also on mine should i shave them off?? they are just not so high on the xig bolt through.. .
still a 5c drop overall is not to bad idle and load.. looks like thats what its settled on.. maybe ill try better tim tomm running as5 now. i have mx2, shin and diamong here but i tried them all and the as5 gave me the best reported results but that was with the sink the other way. all the rest showed higher temps than the as5 did by at least 1c or more with the mx2 believe it or not almost 3-4c higher yesterday than the as5 was
