best temp was -28°C on the tube. don't know the cpu-temp, haven't any tools for that on the hdd. and i don't know what chip it was. i think with that cpu i can go higher, but on that board i had only that easytune crap. bling bling but not really usefull.

I've killed a few DFi boards in the past... after tearing an IHS off with by bare hands during a heatsink-removal I think I understand why these boards don't aslt too long in my possession

Which stepping is that? Seems too coldbugged for a BW, but from what I've seen of B9, BQ, BB and B1 they won't normally do that high htt at -7c

I watched those, too, but I think I have a CABNE 0530APMW on the way (Opty 144), so I didn't buy it. The 0524 was also very tempting, but I want to test my 0516 on LN2 before I buy another chip.

man where are you guys getting these 939 cpus? I have 2 mobos without cpus to put in them I cant seem to find them at any of my normal shopping locations... I just used my opty 146 cacje that did 3.0ghz air 24/7 on my dad's pc because i needed to get rid of some stuff and i had all these extra 939 boards but only my last golden 939 cpu left.

Sounds like a weird issue Replacing the BIOS battery helped alot when dealing with a nasty Venus I remember It always made memory beeps and CCMOS'ed when swapping CPUs etc etc... Now it's working fine!

Today I testet my Opteron 185 with some superpi....its hard to handle with cold bug but 3.6 ghz with default vcore are possible. but not with ram together...

X2 4800+ is on way to me... and one 4000+ 0631 APMW
