you see how old that Aiwa headphone are? its a shame even.
So please help a brother out find a reputable online place to buy DT770 besides eBay.
Two folks local and two others I know online have gotten from that EBay store, yes, they are reputable Mine were new, shipped fast and I even got a followup E-Mail asking if I liked them and for a review, not just an EBay review, I did both.

The zalman clip-on seems popular. I use something similar to this. I just put it around my neck, upside down (so the mic is on the right and pointing toward my mouth).

I ended with BeyerDyamnic DT770 PRO...good quality sound after some burn in time...initially the bass was ok, but per suggestions from other forums, I ran thru my entire iTunes library (400+ songs) dont know how many days that was...at medium volume...the bass got a little better...watching Blackhawk Down, HEAT, Miami Vice, Collateral---I just like Hanz Zimmerman the sound is wonderful...specially HEAT during shootout---no game has yet replicate the sound...GR/RB6 is up there, but then again I'm very bias with those games....I'll install GTR2 and Richard Burns Rally again...since I love the sound those cars make....
I tend to like mashups lately so those with deep bass excel with this headphone.

Gaming-wise I love the footsteps and that "Huh?" sound from RainbowSix Black Thorn...Ravenshield will get installed again also, once I find my key number...I would go back to DOOM3/F.E.A.R. but frankly I'm too chicken-S to play the game all over again...

I just got a problem with the tightness of the fit...I've been trying to stretch it on its packaging box 2-days on and 2-days off...if there is another way I'd appreciate it.

    thanks for everyone here

If they have the same ear muff arrangement as the DT108 or 109's, you won't get much better anywhere.

It beats the $hit out of my previous 5.1 HPA headset .... that thing was pure garbage compared to this.

If you have the cash I recommend it 110%
Thanks 2000army for the contact info. I called the guy you mentioned direct and he set me up. I couldn't get them any other way, I'm in Toronto. These things are awesome. Have you tried them with a soundcard XFI or other yet?

    Thanks

Best Headphones ever!!! (DT 770 Pro 80)

The Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 80's are definitely the clearest sounding cans I have owned. They have perfect bass response and deliver the same quality as high-end studio monitors. Their extra clarity is amazing; the sound stage, something cheap headphones completely lack, add an extra dimension to music; and their elevated bass response makes these cans premier for gaming. Highly recommend at $150. I'll be doing the mic mod soon
