    I think they've got a new card up their sleeves

    Big Bang II

    * 75 trillion transistors
    * 5400mm^2 Die size
    * 1 megawatt TDP
    * requires 10 8 pin connectors and a 24pin ATX connector and a solar panel
    * The PCB is made from children's tears and endangered whales

    I can't wait!

    it could just mean driver support for OGL 3, nvidia had DX10 drivers before it had DX10 hardware.

    You don't need to worry about that, we all know.

    Nvidia's BBII is when all the G84/G86 chips simultaneously combust on that day causing a meltdown worse than Chernobyl and forever changing life as we know it.

    What is this ? The Perkam Police or something

    I don't quite understand the Big Bang II stuff as people seem to be mistaking it for other updates in Q4.

    As far as I know though, D11U (GT 300) was originally scheduled for 2009 launch according to Nvidia's older roadmaps.

    It could have been pushed up due to ATi showing some competition.

    I still think this is going to be software side or chipset side, I don't know why it would be chipset but it would be surprising, and it's around Intel's Nehalem release date from the looks of the roadmap.
