I've been lurking around in the past anonymously but registered to thank you for the information =)
I got a L807A chip which overclocks at:

1) 9 x 266 (2.4ghz) @ 1.16v for 2hrs+ prime95 stable (in CPU-z) Load Line Calibration (LLC) on --> on motherboard AUTO the voltage supplied is 1.28 (is 1.16 too little?)

2) 9 x 333 (3.0ghz) @ 1.232-1.24v (in CPU-z) prime95 stable 3hrs (with LLC off)
3) 9 x 356 @ 1.296v (3.21ghz) prime95 stable 3hrs (in cpu-z) with LLC on --> is this too higher?

Motherboard: Asus P5Q Pro
I tried to overclock to 9 x 378 manually but setting vcore at 1.36250 in bios, I'm scared of wrecking the chip. (I am new to overclocking sorry)
computer is planned to last 5+ years =(

oh also i modded/made some aluminium mosfet heatsinks, do i have to put some thermal paste or pad before screwing them onto the mosfet area, or can I apply it directly without a thermal pad? (I dont wanna do a short circuit)

Can anyone offer me any assistance and tips on overclocking? Thank you very much =)
I'll post some pics up later
