    I unplug my G15 keyboard and my G5 mouse and plug in my P/S2 mouse and keyboard it booted into setup it said F5 bios but when I pressed F8 to setup my raid it shut off and now I can't get to work again.

    now...why isn't the 2nd bios cutting in???

    EDIT:...according to page 70 of the manual...when the board fails to post because of a corrupted or damaged 1st bios, the 2nd bios is suppose to take over...so...if it doesn't do that then the board is defective.

    .according to page 70 of the manual...when the board fails to post because of a corrupted or damaged 1st bios, the 2nd bios is suppose to take over...so...if it doesn't do that then the board is defective.
    That's the bit that slays me for some reason it's not cut in.

    got it to boot ? hmm wonder if we got a big under volt here on cpu or memory, that could explain why you got it to boot 1 time.

    i had the same symptoms when i crossflashed my maximus extreme , the cpu was very under volted , system booted up every 20 tune or so.

    I searched half the night the other night for a way to force it to cut in manually.

    Unfortunately, being the weekend I still haven't heard from anyone. I've sent 2 emails as well as an rma request. lolOl I'm still finding it hard to grasp the moose situation. Knowingly flashing a bad file? Who does that and why? I think we could have helped him sort the net adaptor problem.

    Don't worry about my board I knew that this could happen but I did it anyway I'll RMA it and use my other computers until then.
