Still waiting on someone to comment on whether or not the V6 clients offer any advantage over the official release. Or does everyone still run the stable rls

Seems like when they're bug testing revisions come quite quickly sometimes. I tried one of the betas a couple months ago and got tons of errors but they may have progressed past that now.

weird. i encountered an error on the 6.2.10 x86 build.
"error reading setup initialization file"

edit/ i'll just revert back to the 5.10.45 build

I'm running 6.2.14 x64 with Vista. Seems okay. I'm having other issues with Vista, but BOINC is not one of them.

Is it just me or is this faster than the previous 5.10.45? It's only been a couple days but it sure seems it. My OS is XP64 sp2. I'm only using this on one pc so far but I think I'll switch the others.

Version 6.2.14 I switched 2 rigs on Vista 64 to this version a few days ago. It does seem to be slightly faster. I'm only running the cancer units on these and my times have dropped about 5 minutes.
