Like an 8 year old needs a reason to be mad?

When he unplugs it again, jerk the cord from him and wrap it around his neck, and say "I'm gonna make you an offer you can't refuse". Then he'll be so terrified, he'll either tell your mom and you'll get thrown out, or he'll never do it again. Either way, two birds, one stone!

sounds like GodFather style ... authentic ..
but it's better if you detach the cord itself fully and show of your cowboy whipslash

I would beat his ass. If you do it right the first time you'll never have to do it again. Plus he'll learn a valuable life lesson. There are consequences for being a . You may save him future pain and humiliation. Think of it as a humanitarian exercise.

get another old power supply and sit it next to the computer, put a power cord in it, and maybe he wont be smart enough to unplug the right one

if that doesn't work, duct tape his hands behind his back for an afternoon.

    duct tape solves everything

okay, it's really simple... Honestly, I'd grab his favorite 5 or 6 toys and put them in the ultra-super-high-untouchable spot in YOUR room, tell your mom, and then see what happens. If you beat him to your parental figures, you win.

Fab something together. Also iirc PCP&C has a cord lock to prevent accidental cord removal. Other than that, put the computer on the inside wall of a desk. It'll stop the annoying kid from grabbing it easily. If he thinks he can get away with it anyways--throw his night light in the garbage can! Make sure to pick a large garbage can--so if he tries to go in after it, you can put the cover on it and duct tape it until trash day!

buy him his own comp, doesnt have to be any good, but it'll keep him busy and the slower it is the harder you grow a future xtreme oc'er. Or, do it the old fashioned way, beat him, stick his head in the toilet, torch his room, throw his console out of the driving car... feel free to combine at will

Keep him out of your room when you're in there. Lock it when you leave.

when you are babysitting him duct tape his hands behind his back then his feet to his hands then duct tape his head to the toilet, flush it a few times, and ask him if he'll ever do it again. when he says yes untape him from the toilet only and leave his hands and feet taped until the parents get home and tell them he did it to himself after yoou told him you'd pay him 10 bucks to do it

    P.S. keep the 10 bucks

    Please. Such violence.
The idea is to make the point in a way that the little bugger will remember
    1) Go to store and buy a pound of jalapenos
    2) Take and mince in blender, then pour into tupperware container, cover and set aside.
    3) wait for "wash" day, when this little cherubs weeks worth of undies are in the pile of clothes to be washed.
    4) Separate his underwear from all else.
    5) Run a load of just his undies and when the machine goes to the rinse cycle pour in the jalapenos.
The rinse water will make damned sure that the jalapenos excrete all their oil and permeate the clothing with it.
When junior next put's on said pair of affected clothing nothing will happen until he starts to sweat a little as all humans do.
Then just sit back and watch the fireworks.. Literally..
    A lesson learned..
