Yeah, if you have more than one dhcp server running you end up with address conflicts, you also need to change all the downstream router addresses so they are all different. I usually set mine like first router 192.168.1.100, the next down stream router 192.168.1.200 and so on that way it's easy to tell what router each system is on.

Kill the 2nd router and get a cheap switch, KISS..
Alos go into windows and assign IP's, don't use that auto feature.
Will fix a lot of headaches later..

Yeah, static IPs will make life a LOT easier in the future, especially if you're running rigs headless. Nothing more frustrating then having a power outage or something and then having to figure out which rig is using which IP 'cause they all got reset for whatever reason

Naw, assigning IPs manually will make it a PITA if you are working with lots of different computers, have some friends over etc.
Leave DHCP enabled and use a feature called "static DHCP". This means that you give the router the MAC adresses of all the PCs that are the basic part of the network, and assign them the fixed IP adresses you like. So they will keep their IPs, but you won't loose the convenience of an active DHCP network.

I just set my DHCP to use a different address range to the one I use for my static machines. No en/disbling things or typing in lengthy MAC addresses, just a couple of clicks in the router config.

+1. I have my router set to assign addresses from .2 through .100, and then I use the higher numbers for static IPs.

    Bigger is always better..
    Top 100 daily? I don't think so.
The three machines seem to be in the app 65-72K a day range.
I think you need a sure 75K daily to stay in the top 100
Maybe if I can find a pair of the 2.0ghz chips for sammy I can get there.
That should do 8K a day.
Just ordered a lighted magnifying lamp so i can do the mods on the Harpers.
BSEL modding the 65nm Clovers was hard enough.
Drawing traces on 45nm chips with my eyes is impossible.
Even a flea would have to walk sideways and suck in his gut to walk between those pads on the cpu..

    Congrats Dave

Do you mean being in the top100 daily in the whole of WCG? Cause within XS us two are currently #14 and 15 according to BOINCstats dailies
I am still amazed at what two 24/7 rigs can do, and hoping to up my 50k/d to at least 80K soon (IF I don't strangle that customs officer tomorrow andgo off to jail, that is - a big if )
