It was rather small compared to some of the other events and we were all plagued wth problems, but nonetheless it was great.
(PS im the guy in the red shirt, was my 1st time with Dice if you'll believe me)
Wuhuuu, GF allowed me to participate in this event, so now I'll try to qualify, I will make a late entry... 8-10 or 14th of August...
Dinos22, watch out with such comment
But its true that Gigabyte havent been very well organised in Europe.... To be honest, their marketing department in Holland is operating as effeciently as ASUS in Scandinavia = not very active.... Alot of black sheeps, its about getting the right contact person, as some a full of ****.....

The comment where you clearly stated you think all Europeans are n00b at ocing.
We all know you just uncovered your true feelings, and you're not getting away with it this time.

Sorry, it was just too much to resist. Actually I'm a big-time trash talker in RL (everyone from Boston is) and I guess I recently "unlocked" that side of myself heh.
I just found it funny you're still getting crap for what was obviously a joke lol, I made that post to make certain that no one else would misunderstand.
Chris, at least you did it in style. Note how the monitor is clearly pitch black.![]()
no, monitor is behind the "steam" but its black all right XD
No, I didnt get it was a joke, come on, THINK... Its not the first post from my side both of you have read, think.... If I didnt get it, I would have bursted out in rage and been rude, as usual....
My point being, exactly as stated, watch out with such comments,.... Especially when it actually was the case that Gigabyte didnt pick the top notch.... You cleaned up the "mess" a little after, yet, just think twice how people will read it before posting....
Oh, and cut the crap using that sarcastic smiley...
(wasnt any need for this comment, but the following statement to my previous comment was arrogant as hell IMO)

*yawn* What are we complaining about again? If you took a comment out of context just ease up a bit. I think we are all getting pissy over the comment about Europeans not representing OC'ing at the last Gigabyte event? If so, it is true that for the most part they weren't hammering out 5.5+GHz runs like the Aussies but they sure as hell tested the FSB clocking and memory clocking on those boards. I'd say they did a fantastic job covering that realm of overclocking. We know Europe has plenty of guys that throw 2.0volts at 45nm processors and cackle when the magic dust is released, they just weren't there last time. No matter what though, we all had a blast and the boards were thoroughly tested/blown up. So can we get over this and focus on other things like hot chicks and fountains of liquid nitrogen?
Now, grab a beer and take a swig, it's the weekend. Kick back and enjoy yourself, there's plenty of time during the work-week to complain and moan. I know I sure do it enough
s7e9h3n, I had to gank that picture and project it to the wonders of Facebook. It's just too classic, shows what failure looks likeMust hang this on my door to remind me

i want gigabyte to pick some of these passionate guys like Beier so that we can see some REAL overclocking on the final comp if it has to be that Gigabyte cannot organise preliminaries in Europe
looks like at least Scandinavians are getting a proper comp to find a good OCer
i don't like the idea of picking favourites. we have to do it the hard way in Australia as well and qualify (which actually involved breaking 8M W.R. just to enter) and then beat of some serious competition to go to Taiwain............that's what everyone needs...........competition..........just like USA guys, just like Scandianvians etc etc
Beier dude just freakin let it go. i clearly did NOT mean what you're putting in my mouth so take a chill pill mate
if you guys knew what names i saw Asus is going to have end of this month for their comp in Singapore you will know what i mean
hahahah that pic of Chris with his head down is pretty good
awesome work taking such a great pic![]()
ROFL
Gautam stop it man
you're killing me today with your trash talk
watches Marc go into overdrive heheheh
maaan you guys only need to spend an afternoon with us old timers thrash talking eachother all day long
i can't wait to finally meet hipro5 and the gang.........this will be ridiculously good ahah
i think we'll first warm up with wife jokes![]()

Anyhow, hopefully for Gigabyte it will payoff with the qualification, because the last event was a joke on many networks/communities... Best 32M result was almost 2 min worse then a well tweaked run at same frequency, what was it.... 5.6ghz and 10min+ or so?
EDIT:
No idea who made it, but was one of the top results from the event, and many ppl wondered how the heck it was possible....
