I'm going to quote myself, just to get the introduction
4GHz is a no go for daily use ... with a Q6600, to much voltage needed... even breaking down the CPU temps, I think it's too much Voltage to the components and it's not worthwhile.
I’m going for 3.6GHz … it’s almost out of the box and enough... to handle my future 4870 Crossfire.

I should be getting 300-500 pts more than that... I tried dropping my multi and upping the FSB from 412x9 to 463x8 but I only get like 10-20pts more :/ I have 4x1gb ocz at 1100mhz 5,5,5,15 PL 9 and running bios 803 beta
