Hey Gautam,
It was nice to meet you over at the contest... All the benchers were focused on the contest, so I didn't want to break the mood.
If you walked up to the case, people would have known. I put a little sign that said: "Please Do Not Touch!!! - Ton"
LOL.. well.. i guess the President of Gigabyte didn't see the sign:
- Ton
ROFL dude
i don't think you understood what i was saying
we did an overclocking event in Taiwan recently for Gigabyte and all the European overclockers invited except for Pt1t were some no names which never saw LN2 or pots or really overclocked........in fact a few of them were underclocking their systems during spring break. What my point is is that GIgabyte should really go find some proper overclockers from Europe and there are tons of great guys including the ones you mentioned
lol how could you even thing i would say something crazy like that hehehe![]()
Heh. You guys. No canada competition either! NOt quite a global thing, yet. I thiunk most real good clockers are Europe-based..something in the water, I think!
looks like an awesome time for all involved! congrats gomeler on the nice placing for only 2 bench's! congrats also to all the winners, thats some nice DDR3!
I didn't get many pictures but here are some. I took even fewer during the event.
Bringing the LN2.
Gom with the LN2.

LOL....hey Gom, in the 2nd pic you posted, you look like you are caressing that tank.
"Bobby, most states won't let you marry an LN2 tank".
(Hank Hill @ his first OC comp, Summer 2008)
Yes, Yellowbeard, a tall rough man with a big yellow beard
Thats the first time ive seen someone pouring LN2 using a pot
Its DryIce, no LN2 was allowed at our venue... Hopefully we will get it right next time round... Still makes for a cool pic though
Thanks GHZGood of Gigabyte to set all these competitions up & then one final with such an internationally diverse turn out, I mean how else would we all get to meet each other face to face
And not to mention these events are so much fun

BTW did your boards freez up? we got coldbug on the boards at like -75 my board froze up :?. and u okes use Ln2 . not to mention the coldbugs on those 9600gt's.
Yea gigabyte really fueling the overclockers here. Good job and thank u!

Coldbugs and coldboot bugs were all different due to the different processors. Mine had CBB at -98C and CB at -104C, pretty decent. My 9600GT had CB around -10C though if I had to guess, complete failI can't wait to see coverage of the final event in Taipei, it'll be nuts!
