@wesleyclark: Yeah I got a smallish DMM and it needed a sort of strange 12v battery... I think I may even have a soldering iron around here. Probably better that you don't have a huge amount of power for that soldering iron, less easy to melt something horribly necessary. (Like the original solder points).
