Good news is the vdroop is only really bad under load conditions
when it's idle it's not too bad,
so try not to run any games or demanding apps and it should be ok

But seriously folks, vdroop is the only gripe I have left for my x38-dq6
apart from that the board is sweet after a dozen or so bios revs.

Finally, I have seen a proper mod for the vdroop for my board, maybe there's one for the ex38 as well if you feel confident to try it, I wasn't game.
