hmm that's odd, I don't know what to say as the 2d profiles are working fine for me? Perhaps it's a bad driver install? How about downloading a stock bios from the techpowerup database and editing it yourself to see if you have the problem again.

On another note, I just did a 3dmark06 run and am pleasantly surprised at the result. This was at 720/1200 with an E6750 @ 3.64ghz, 4gb OCZ @ 1090mhz 5,5,4,14

Not bad for a dual core and single card.

Am not impressed with your score unless itīs a vista score. I am not a fan boy and i will soon be picking up a HD 4870. With my old 8800GTS 320mb SC, i was able to get 15k in 3Dmark 06 check sig. Canīt you bump up the shaders clock a bit and try tighten up your mem clocks(ram) maybe 4-4-4-10.That may increase you score Well nice score for a start, keep pushing

I have a dmm hooked up to my card for testing. With a pencil mod done. I get just around 1.290v loaded regardless of what voltage I set in the bios. Is there any trick to getting higher voltages threw the bios?

a way to increase the voltage is to shade the resistor or point harder/darker. This will give you less resistance and more volts. Always check with the dmm though so that your card won't blow up.

    BAGZZlash:

After I change clock info 3 and 9 to my OC value (715 MHz) and saves the bios only nr 3 stays at 715. Nr 9 changes back to 500. Whats even more weird is that clock info 6 changes to 715 MHz instead.

But it seems to work anyway. The GPU jumps up to 715 in rthdribl, so I guess it works in games too.

Should I edit the bios again and only keep 3 at 715?? Clock info 6 ain't for 3d right?

This is a Gigabyte bios btw, same one as Sapphire uses.

    2D voltage is 1.046 and 3D 1.084.
