Yield is percentage of die that are good out of all dice on a wafer. Nothing more, nothing less. Poor yields mean that you get few good dice out of all the total dice on each wafer. Justify it however else you want, but that's exactly what it means. You can look at the RV770 wafer I showed you to get an idea of how a GT200 wafer would look like...
