You'll find competitive scores in the Xtreme 3dMark section in the next couple of weeks.
Intel i7 920 d0 @ 4410MHz @ 1.36v :: Prolimatech Mega Shadow :: Gigabyte EX58-UD5 F9K :: 6GB Mushkin XP3-15000 :: HIS 5870 :: Corsair 1000W :: HannsG 27.5" :: Lian Li V1010B
umm yeah, how about you post a score like that??? oh wait your running a 700$ nvidia card on an intel mobo when you could be running 4870 CF to beat your card easily and cheaper. please stop with your crap, you didn't even respond to the fact that nvida's IQ is bad and your "fast" card is indeed faster yet displaying a MUCh lower quality image. just look at the bricks in those screens at anand every single nvidia mode doesnt even have that highlights and texture detail that the 770 produces.
face it you made a poor purchase and you just have live with that dont suffocate us with you GT200 is god bull
EDIT; sorry to feed the fire, but this guy just needs to be told whats up even if he doesnt aknowledge it because any lurkers on the thread are going to be mislead by his manipulative posting style (cmon comparing a phase run to a regular run on a benchmark that already favors nvidia heavily for the sole reason that nvidia paid more to have it that way)

considering that it should more than doubles the cpu physics test that dose make a huge diffrence, and your numbers are flawed your comparing stock and 3.6ghz runs to a 4.5ghz with ln2 or phase on everything
and did u look at this
http://anandtech.com/video/showdoc.aspx?i=3341&p=11
it shows that at max NV is the about IQ as ati with 4x msaa, and its missing texture shading
also buying a striker 2 extreme just shows your ignorance, for 24/7 buying a board that need and extreme edition cpu since the fsb is limmited

Min and MAX FPS
Very good review, shows that I am best to wait for the 1GB version as despite what some might say..512MB of VRAM does not cut it.
I like the page where you see a minimum of 0.8 FPS on the HD4850 1.9 FPS on the Crossfire HD4870 vs a minimum of 7.1FPS on the 896MB GX260 to me that smacks of lack of VRAM.

Look here Ceevee, Tri Crossfire HD4870s outperform Tri-SLI GTX 280! Not to mention those GTX 280s are overclocked! LOL.
Also the vantage pic you posted, it was on an overclocked quad core @ 4.8GHz + overclocked GTX 280s vs STOCK HD4870s. Nice comparison, moron
Once AMD releases HD4870 X2, it will outperform the GTX 280 for $150 cheaper LOL.
The name calling and vitriol in this thread is unbelievable. Really, really nasty people on XS now, wasn't like that when I joined.
Anyway the main difference between triSLI and 3xCrossfire is that one of them almost always works and the other usually performs worse than a single card. Yeah thats a good value for your money.![]()

good thing they only tested 3 games, if they had done more the tri 4870 may have beat the 280, we wouldn't want that would we XD
(fyi it wins in UT3 so i wouldn't really say that CFX is losing all the time its more that the review was incomplete and really not reliable whatsoever)

By the way, RV770 destroys GT200 in terms of image quality. No wonder why my games look like **** on my G80s.
http://anandtech.com/video/showdoc.aspx?i=3341&p=11
And like other people have mentioned, give AMD time to release new drivers, which will fix most of the CF scaling problems. In a few weeks, you'll see RV770s in CF scaling much better than the power hogging, inefficent GT200s in SLI.![]()
For the record, the QX9770 is specced for 400FSB to begin with. Also, you might be surprised at how little a 400FSB will bottleneck a single Quad-core processor, even at the 4.0GHz mark. I remember back when the QX6800 first came out, and people were wondering about the 266FSB being an issue.

maybe, but waiting for CFX profiels will be a pain, especial when it takes months for them to come to enjoy your games.
Thats the strengh of NV that they deliver the SLI profiles faster + you can make your own if its really necessary.
Also i would not call the 4870 a power saver either.![]()
