First what happens with 2 dimms ( so 4gb in total ) can you get it to post then each time ? Which bios are you on ?

    CPU Voltage: 1.35
CPU GTL Voltage Reference (0/2): AUTO
CPU GTL Voltage Reference (1/3): AUTO
    CPU PLL Voltage: 1.5
    FSB Termination Voltage: 1.3
    DRAM Voltage: 1.92
NB Voltage: 1.28 (worked fine here with 8Gb - 400FSB/1066 on the ram)
    NB GTL Reference: AUTO
    SBridge Voltage: AUTO
    PCIE SATA Voltage: AUTO
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

I have tried almost all combinations of 1, 2 and 4 dimms installed. I have tried 2 dimms in both slot combinations and a single dimm in any of the 4 slots available. No change.

I am on the official 0704 bios. On the first POST after I clear the CMOS (the only time the board will actually POST) then I can boot into windows. From there I ran the Asus update tool and updated the BIOS to 0704. However...after reading that any windows based bios updating tool can cause issues, I then flashed again using the EZ Flash tool from within BIOS, same result.

Just to recap the issue so there isn't any confusion:
    1. Immediately after clearing CMOS, the board will POST and take me to a screen that basically says:
"Please enter SETUP to recover BIOS settings.
    Press F1 to enter SETUP
Press F2 to load defaults and continue"

    2. If I press F1, I can get into the BIOS (hence how I used the EZ Flash tool), but once I save and exit...no POST.
    3. If I press F2, the pc will continue to load windows and the computer seems to function great (7 instances of memtest, 0 errors, overnight). Once I reboot/restart the pc, no POST.

Thanks for the voltage settings...I'll try those and see if it makes any difference tonight!
