hi all, I have the striker II formula, with a Q9450 C1, and bios 1305, on this motherboard but you can't overclocking well, to remain stable at 3200 MHz, need a vcore around 1.25v, with a VTT of 1.4v from bios that become real about 1.31v, and must also be enabled Loadline Calibration, what I wanted to know, it is a safe VTT of 1.4 ---> 1.31v, with the loadline calibration enable, to keep the PC on 24/7?

sorry for my horrible English lol but I'm Italian

Well, I'm still on the new 1305 bios and guess what... the video corruption happened... I don't get it, it seemed like it was fixed up until 10 minutes ago... damn what a bummer...

Are you serious? Did you make sure your OC is stable with the new BIOS?

This makes me wonder if this is why 790i still doesnt have a fix...

It's not the OC... I know that for sure... but I also know this sucks a lot
EvoCarlos what exactly do you mean that the NB or the SB craps out... I mean what happens that you draw that conclusion?

Just thought I'd mention, I've been following a few threads and seen a few people mention that the 1305 doesn't fix the video corruption. I upgraded to 1305, and the day after got the corruption again. Seems to work for some but not others. Either that or they just haven't experienced it yet.

Got my new board today. It's working all fine so far. I added a fan to the chipset and 2 pci slot exhaust fans to help cool this beast. So far so good. The temps seem decent

    CPU 39C
    MB 26C
    NB 53
    SB 47

    RIGHT AFTER RUNNING CRYSIS
    CPU 41
    MB 27
    NB 57
    SB 49

Got the memory running at 800mhz so far. timings 4-4-4-15-2 latency is 62 which i feel should be lower. how do i get it lower??
    Read 8422
    Write 6933
    Copy 6159
Don't know how good those are or how to make them better. I want reliabiliy more then anything.

Stock settings for e8400. I believe i have a good working board this time, and so far. Also got the 1305 bios installed. We shall see if i get video corruption this time. I hope not. Thanks to all for help with bios settings and stuff. I will let you know how it goes.

Hmmhm, Single GTX 280 delivers big time! It's giving me much better experience than 8800GTX SLI and scores at least the same in every game I have. The ROG light btw isn't blue, it's the SupremeFX thing which shines in blue. I stuffed bluetack on the led to fix that.
